Using the tools
Vidlocus provides free tools that compress, convert, and extract audio from video files inside your browser. You may use them for personal and commercial purposes. You are responsible for the files you process and for having the right to process them.
Your content is yours
Because everything runs on your device, we never take possession of your files and claim no rights over them. What you process stays yours.
Acceptable use
Do not use the site to process content you have no right to, or for anything unlawful. Do not attempt to disrupt, overload, or reverse the site in ways that harm its operation or other people.
No warranty
The tools are provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. Video processing depends on your device and browser, and results can vary. We do not guarantee that every file will process, that output will meet a specific quality, or that the site will always be available. Always keep your original files.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the site, including lost files or data. Since processing happens on your device and we never receive your files, you are responsible for keeping backups.
Changes
We may update these terms as the site develops. When we do, we will change the date at the top. Continued use means you accept the current version.
